For Weddings

Every wedding day deserves
a moment worth toasting.

We understand that weddings are personal. Having planned one ourselves, we know how it feels when every vendor seems to see a wedding budget as an opportunity. Our approach is the opposite — we work as your partner in the process, not just a line item on your invoice.

Every wedding booking includes:

  • The Champagne Toast, On Us

Proper toasts deserve proper champagne flutes. House champagne and real glass flutes are included in every wedding package at no additional cost. Non-alcoholic sparkling cider is also included as part of the complimentary offering for underage and sober guests.

  • Beverage Tasting

This is the fun part. We set aside 60–90 minutes to sit down with you at The Half Pint, get to know you and a little of your story, and share beverage menu ideas. We will sample our most popular offerings, sparkling toast options, and anything specific to your preferences. Have a favorite beer or a hard-to-find wine in mind? Just ask. We will do everything we can to source your favorite libations, within Idaho alcoholic beverage regulations.

  • Dedicated Point of Contact

One team lead handles your event from initial booking through the final breakdown. No handoffs, no confusion, no chasing anyone down the week of.

  • Weather Contingency Planning

Backup plans are coordinated with your venue well before the wedding day, so a shift in the forecast never becomes a shift in the plan.

  • Vendor Coordination

We work directly with your planner, photographer, and DJ so service timing and transitions run smoothly — without pulling you into every logistical conversation.

  • Chalkboard Menu Signage

Hand-lettered chalkboard signage displaying your beverage menu is included with every booking. Fully custom designs featuring your names, wedding date, or a specific theme are available as an upgrade.

Wedding add-ons and upgrades:

  • Fully Custom Chalkboard Designs

Upgraded signage with custom lettering, your names and wedding date, or artwork designed around your theme.

  • Advance Booking & Multi-Service Discounts

Discounts available for bookings placed well in advance, and additional savings when bar service is booked alongside our pizza catering.

  • Premium Dinner & Toast Beverages

Upgraded champagne, wine, and beverage selections available for the wedding party or specific guests. Priced individually per beverage.

Our Commitment

Everything we do is aimed at making your wedding experience better. This is YOUR DAY and we are honored to be a part of it. This is much more than just an event for us, and we take our commitment seriously. Every choice we make on site — from when we open the bar, to how we time the service, to the real glass flutes we hand out for the toast — is designed to make the day feel effortless for you and unforgettable for your guests. “It is the small touches that turn simple moments into lasting memories.”

Peace of Mind

Fully licensed. Properly insured. Legally compliant.

The Half Pint Mobile Bar is one of the few caterers in the region that holds a full Idaho State alcohol license as required by law. This distinction is more important than most couples and event hosts realize.

Idaho law does not permit the common “client-supplied alcohol, we just serve it” arrangement used across the border in Washington. In Idaho, that model is illegal — and the State has recently increased enforcement, holding both venues and event hosts liable when unlicensed service is discovered on their property.

When you book with us, every element of the beverage program is handled under our license, our permits, and our insurance. You never carry the legal exposure, your venue never carries the legal exposure, and your day proceeds exactly as it should.

  • Idaho retail alcohol license (beer & wine)
  • Event-specific catering permits filed with Idaho State Police
  • Liquor liability & general liability insurance
  • TIPS-certified bartending staff
  • Certificate of Insurance provided to your venue on request

A beautiful day should never become a headache because your bar caterer was not operating the way they should. With us, that concern is off the table.

Frequently Asked

Answers to common questions.

How far in advance should we book?

We recommend two to six months of lead time for Saturday events during the summer and fall seasons. A limited number of short-notice slots are held each month for last-minute inquiries. Events within 30 days should be discussed by phone; we can often accommodate.

What is your service area?

Complimentary travel is included within a 30-mile radius of Coeur d’Alene, covering Post Falls, Hayden, Rathdrum, Athol, Hauser, Liberty Lake, and most of Spokane Valley. Travel beyond 30 miles is available with a modest fee. Sandpoint and other extended locations may be accommodated on request.

What is included in your on-site setup?

Our mobile bar setup includes a 6-foot professional folding bar, a portable draft beverage system with up to four taps, wine and champagne service, all glassware and serviceware, ice, event signage, and a branded transport trailer that anchors the presentation. All equipment is transported, set up, and broken down by our team.

Do you serve liquor or cocktails?

Our current license and permit structure covers beer and wine service only — including craft draft beer, cider, hard seltzer, and curated wine. We do not serve liquor or spirit-based cocktails at this time.

Are you licensed to serve alcohol in Idaho?

Yes. The Half Pint holds an Idaho retail alcohol license for beer and wine, and we file event-specific catering permits for each booking through the Idaho State Police — the standard pathway for legal mobile beverage service in Idaho. All bartending staff are TIPS-certified. We carry liquor liability and general liability insurance, and a Certificate of Insurance is available upon request.

What guest counts can you accommodate?

Our standard configuration comfortably serves up to 300 guests for beverage service. Larger events can be accommodated with additional staff and equipment; please note guest count at inquiry.

Can you work alongside another caterer?

Yes. We frequently provide bar service alongside a primary food caterer. We coordinate directly with your planner or venue as needed.

What are your space and power requirements?

We require approximately a 12' × 10' level footprint for our bar setup. A standard 110V outlet within 100 feet is preferred but not required — we carry a quiet generator if power access is not available on site.

How do we reserve a date?

Submit an inquiry through our contact form or by phone. We respond within 24 hours with availability and a custom quote. A signed contract and a 25% deposit reserves your date. The remaining balance is due 14 days prior to the event.
